Reno Nevada Blackjack

Play BlackjackReno, just like Vegas is in Nevada and has a ton of casinos where you can play blackjack. You’ll have trouble playing in all of the casinos on one trip while in Reno, but I’ve compiled the best casinos in Reno where you can blackjack and you should do your best to make sure you check them out. Some of the casinos have there own comp programs which we’ll look at as well because we all know that it’s important to make sure you join the rewards program at the casino you’re going to play in. Another key thing to look at before choosing where to play in Reno is the blackjack rule variants that are being used. You want to look for the casino offering the lowest house edge of course, and this can be difficult when there are so many choices which is why I’m helping you target where to play when you’re visiting Reno.

Atlantis Casino Resort Reno

3800 South Virginia Street – 1-800-825-4700 – AtlantisCasino.com

Atlantis Casino Resort in Reno offers a high class blackjack room where players will be entertained with music and of course the game they came to play. The casino has a lot of blackjack tables and some of the tables have different rule variants then the other tables. The stakes will also differ based on the day and time you’re visiting the casino. Atlantis Casino also runs there own comps program called Club Paradise. You can sign-up for your Club Paradise card completely free near the cashier desks in the casino and once you join you’ll earn points for every bet you make in the casino. You can use your points for a ton of things and you’ll learn everything you can use your points for once you become a member.

Peppermill Casino Reno

2707 South Virginia Street – 775-826-2121 – PeppermillReno.com

The Peppermill Casino does everything first class and you’ll be sure to enjoy a luxurious experience when you’re visiting the Peppermill in Reno. The blackjack tables at this casino don’t have any specific rule variations mentioned so you’ll be playing straight blackjack when at the Peppermill which means the house advantage is evident and you’ll need to use some strategy to beat the dealer. Peppermill Casino also runs the Passport Players Club which will earn you points every time you play at the blackjack tables. You can use your points for a variety of rewards once you have earned enough of them from playing at the casino, some of the rewards include free meals, free rooms and free tickets to events around Reno.

Harrah’s Casino Reno

219 North Center Street – 775-786-3232 – HarrahsReno.com

Harrah’s Reno needs to be on this list because every Harrah’s Casino is just remarkable in layout, design and service. I’ve stayed at many of the Harrah’s Resorts and Casinos in the past and have nothing but good stuff to say about them. The blackjack tables are always busy with players and you’ll be able to have a great time interacting with other players while you’re playing blackjack at Harrah’s Reno. If you’ve never played at a Harrah’s Casino before then you’ll want to join the Total Rewards program which is the comp program used at all the Harrah’s Resorts. You can earn great rewards from this comp program and you can sign-up online if you’d like.

Eldorado Casino Reno

345 North Virginia Street – 775-786-5700 – EldoradoReno.com

The Eldorado Casino in Reno is one of a kind and offers a great experience for the new gambler or veteran gambler. The Eldorado Casino runs many great events which you can take apart in when you’re visiting and when you want to play blackjack you’ll just need to head down to the casino room. The casino floor is massive and you’ll find tons of games on the floor, but I know that you’re looking for blackjack. The blackjack tables are pretty good at the Eldorado and although it wouldn’t be my first choice in Reno it’s definitely a great alternative. Club Eldorado is the comps program which you’ll want to make sure you join before sitting down at the blackjack tables. It’s free to join and you’ll earn plenty of rewards through playing in the casino plus you’ll be eligible for many private events held by the Eldorado Casino in Reno.

Silver Legacy Casino Reno

407 North Virginia Street – 775-325-7401 – SilverLegacyReno.com

Silver Legacy Casino is a one stop casino with everything you could imagine including some of the most active blackjack tables in Reno. If you’re looking for an alternative in Reno for blackjack because you’d like to try out a new casino then the Silver Legacy should be near the top of your list. If you’re going to be playing in the Silver Legacy Casino make sure you join Club Legacy beforehand so that you can earn your comp points while playing. You can earn rooms, tickets, food and many other great vouchers using your Club Legacy card. You can join the club directly from the Silver Legacy website so you don’t need to do it once you arrive in Reno.

Sands Regency Casino Reno

345 North Arlington – 775-348-2200 – SandsRegency.com

Terrible Sands Regency Casino is located in downtown Reno and offers a unique experience compared to other casinos in the area. If you’re young and looking for an entertaining atmosphere then playing blackjack at the Sands Regency Casino is a good idea. You can also join the Sands Bonus Beach Club which is the comps program for the casino where you’ll earn nice rewards for choosing to play at there casino rather the other casinos in the area.

Card Counting in Reno

Card counting is legal in Nevada so this means you can legally count cards while playing on the Reno blackjack tables. You should keep in mind though that you still want to be as discrete as possible because the casinos will try and make your life miserable if they suspect you of card counting and taking them for big bucks. They need to pay out your winnings though, but Reno isn’t the best city to be caught counting cards in because the casinos don’t like it much.
