Progressive Jackpot Blackjack

Play BlackjackThere are a number of styles of Blackjack that share the same aim - to beat the house and get your hand as close to the value of 21 as you can.

One of the most popular styles of Blackjack goes by the name of Progressive Blackjack.

The main difference between Blackjack and Progressive Blackjack is that on placing a bet over the play line a player also places an amount of chips into a 'Jackpot Circle'.

The chips that are placed into the 'Jackpot Circle' are then added to a running total that accumulates throughout the opening hours of the casino.

There are a number of chances that a player can then win money while playing the game.

The first is the same as the standard game with the player beating the dealer or house.

The second is that the player is dealt a 7 of any suit within their starting hand. A player who receives the 7 after placing into the 'Jackpot Circle' before the hands are dealt, they will receive $5.

The next way in that a player can win money within the hand is that he is dealt a pair of 7's as a starting hand. Getting this hand in standard Blackjack would leave you thinking that you were on a coin flip and would leave you thinking back to your hand percentages. Getting a pair of 7's here would win you $25.

Want to double your $25 into $50 winnings? Well a hand that was made up of the same suit would mean that you are taking out $50 in prize money. This is possible as casinos play with more than one deck of cards due to security issues of card counting.

To build on that success there is a chance that if the player decides to 'Hit' or receive another card from the dealer and that card is a 7, leaving the player with a hand value of 21 made up by a set of 7's, the player would be the happy winner of $250.

Yeah you guessed it, if you want to take a bigger jackpot payout from the hand seeing a set of the same suit 7's. Being fortunate enough to see this hand feature in front of you will see you $1,000 better off than before the hand started.

The only way to better the $1,000 prize is to hope that your set of suited 7's is made up of diamonds. Getting this within your hand means that you have just unlocked the casinos jackpot! The amount within the jackpot is taken from a running total that is built up each game that is played all day, until the jackpot is released.

Playing this game offers a little extra thrill and excitement than a player gets when playing standard Blackjack with the opportunity to win money with every card you are dealt.

This type of action isn't often found within the online versions of casinos so playing this would mean you would also have to experience the casino atmosphere for real. This will not only enhance your experience but you will enjoy it a whole lot more. However, you should know that the house edge on these types of bets is usually much higher than the straight house edge at regular blackjack when you use basic strategy.
